Carl - so glad you are setting the bar high for the rest of the class. I will be very interested to see what others think about your idea. What possibilities does this offer the world?
ReplyDeleteI will add, though, that you need to find more appropriate competitors for this service. I did a quick google search using a variety of key words and found some businesses that offer self-improvement services... which is really what you are offering, right? Something to improve someone's life with increased options. So - keep looking. I think you have fashioned this into a viable service for the future (who WOULDN'T want a "do over")and I can already start to imagine the imagery that you will be creating for this!
I have questions about the name of the service - so let's see what others in the class suggest!
Love the idea, it would offer the world lots of second chances. I think the cost would also be astronomical if the technology is ever created. I think the controls as to what can and can't be changed would be extremely difficult to follow and enforce, changing the past leads to different results in the future, even as short as 30 days. I think its a great service idea to have that type of control and can't wait to see the marketing campaign for this.
ReplyDeleteI really want some reassurance that you wont make the timeline monumentally worse for someone else. The ramifications of time travel are potentially huge, I'd recommend some happy-looking logos to reassure customers. The pictures you have are good for a website but feel a bit "mad science". Though I can definitely see somthing like this taking off if it's safe.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the name change idea, Life Editor makes it sound like an office product more than a time machine. Maybe something catchier for advertising reasons! I'd like to see what the product will end up looking like if you choose to use it in the posters.
