Brush Update
So I have added the paint brushes that I had planned, Now I'm playing with where exactly to add the text, more specifically the logo.
Your most successful brush is seen in the bottom image, where the translucent paint sits closer to the bottom of the brush... and we see a suggestion of the bottom of the bristles (I think that edge is really important). The energy "dancing" off the brush is a good thing to try to replicate in the other images. Don't be overly concerned about rendering what the brush is doing realistically... rather the "idea" of the energy coming off the brush is what supports this concept.
