Design Change LOGO Repost

  1. Hope I’m not being to harsh but I would do a layer mask of the “change” and have more of a space themed or have each letter have a different landscape in each. Try having “design” go vertical or vertically stack the letters and have road line within that type with may be a horizon line. I do like the dark blue color of the bold text and font. I’m interested in what you will become of your logo in the near future. Keep up the good work

  2. Nicholas – I think you may have a unity problem here, in that the logo appears to have 3 different elements that are not making complete sense together: The big N; the smaller sans serif letters; and the blue DESIG at the top. You are pulling this phrase apart too much… we loose the readability of the 2 words. Here are my questions/suggestions:

I guess I’m still left wondering why I see a huge “N” here. What does that signify? I am guessing that you have used that N mostly because it offers you a shape that has allowed you to add the white dotted lines and now the cool texture that suggests space travel. I understand the dotted lines and texture, but not the size contrast.

It isn’t working to share that “N” between the words – unless the word DESIGN was vertically intersecting CHANGE… and I’m not sure that would work either.

So…why don’t you return that N to the size of the rest of the letters, and run the white lines horizontally through all the letters while adding that texture throughout?

A font change between the 2 words can certainly work, but not when they share a letter.

So – I commend your exploratory work and encourage you to keep working with this – simplifying the number of contrasts, and allowing this to continue to evolve.

Can’t wait to see the next versions.

  3. I agree with Coni about the lack of unity. I feel like you should choose a specific aspect of the current logo and expand on that. Finding 2 fonts as well as colors that work together is crucial.
