  1. Carl – I see some disaster images, some happy family images, and a meditation new age figure floating in the air. I also see a blurred clock – which does suggest that time is fluid… the only image that seems to suggest your service.

One approach, as you have mentioned in the past, is to show a before/after comparison. It seems like you are heading in the direction of bad vs good (with the help of your service). This could be a very tricky concept to pull off without confusing the reader. You are attempting to SCARE the audience into using your service. It should be called the Trump approach (grin) and can certainly work sometimes. But… without a lot of words and relying on image composites… maybe other approaches could work more easily and successfully.

For instance, how about creating a narrative, a story, that shows a stressful life event that could go either way – catastrophe or success – like a rock climber standing atop the cliff that he has just successfully climbed (or not), or getting a “You are Hired” email/snail mail (compared with “Sorry, Position Filled”), or walking into a new job (or your messy, drab kitchen). I’m suggesting you think of actual stressful life events that have, in the past, gone badly for which someone might use your service… but for which you can also find imagery that shows the successful result of the re-lived event. Your challenge will be to combine those 2 different narratives in ways that show us there is a choice to be made – live with it, or use your service to improve it.

Combining the 2 realities would be a great composite. So instead of showing a car crash alone… you would also use a driver in a car reaching their destination.

Showing the reality, and then the possible Tri-Again results is another way of using the comparison approach.

As I write this, I realize that your competitors could easily be Life Insurance companies. Taking out a policy with a life insurance company means you are attempting to avoid catastrophe (in this case your death) for the rest of your family. Look at some of their marketing approaches – start with google search “best insurance ads”.

Looking forward to seeing your next batch of images.

  2. I think you have a good point in this relating with time and connecting this, it seems to work. I think there is a lot going on in there and some sort of a narrative, or a comparison can work, even may be both. It almost seems dreamy rather than a reality, in certain parts like the yoga pose person in the center. I think you have a good concept going and just may be need to add more to strengthen the message.

  3. When I first saw it I had to check the comments to remember what your service was. After that I saw the relevance of the tragedy/happy images and the blurred clock. The meditation images in the center are what really threw me. The clock was definitely the right choice, though it might help if the rest was a bit more clear on what you're offering.

Still a well made image, good job.
