Part of my idea at the moment is to add a paintbrush into every image, though the second one doesn't have one yet. I also am redoing the third image to better fit the two already made and I haven't found a house image that fits. So I'm not sure what I will end up using.

I'm really liking the first city skyline image. The electric affect is very clean and it works with the tones of the current image very well. My only worry would be the placement of the logo because it matches, it gets very lost in the electricity.
ReplyDeleteConnie - #1 is really great. A good approach that seems pretty clear, although certainly futuristic. I think you have, in fact, found your conceptual approach for this campaign: A brush, a scene, and energy/light flowing from brush to architectural surfaces.
ReplyDelete#2 (your first composition) - I wonder if you see the bright white vertical stripe that is part of the central bridge wire supports. When you return to this to add your brush, please be aware that you will need to change the color of that area… because it really stands out in the composition for no apparent reason. It doesn’t add to your message, so you’ll need to tone it down.
Designing the Future…for You (please notice the lower case “for”)
It’s time to think about the heading and logo. I suggest you keep the heading together and move the logo into the heading too. This will create 1 strong element that you can add into your skies. To add more interest, if the sky seems a bit empty, you could create a second version of the logo that would be large and blended into the sky itself. You have plenty of room in the skies here to work with, so create a really interesting typographic element. That means something other than Times New Roman might be a good idea.
Keep up the good work and let me know if you need a particular background for #3 from getty.
I think this is a very clear concept its electric paint, the brush would be a good idea to add. I agree i think the logo gets lost in the last one for sure, perhaps a different background just for the logo part or like an utter glow may make it stand out more. Looks great its a clear concept and a neat approach, and a very nice color theme.
ReplyDeleteThese have come to a very fine edge, I'm almost afraid to offer advice considering how good they are. The glow from the cities with the electricity and brush make it all very clear. Though as you said the third image does need to fit more, I look forward to seeing a more residential version.
