Design Change Logo

I really do like the idea of envisioning a future in the logo, though I'd be willing to make some tweaks, it just doesn't feel like it's quite where I want it yet. Feel free to help with suggestions.
(Not sure if I want more color or not.)

(Actually while writing this I discovered it's the font I don't like, I'll look into some others.)

  1. I suggest just changing font and keep the pupil and the iris. If you could enlarge the pupil/iris and remove the eye lid line. Other than that great job

  2. I like the idea of using an eye, like looking into the future. I would suggest making the outline of the eye bigger and then make the sclera (white part of an eye) white. Seeing it with the light peach (?) color makes me think of when someone has jaundice (liver failure that make the skin and sclera yellow). The pupil and iris I think should be bigger to make it look more realistic, if you look at a person’s eye, generally the pupil is somewhat cut off by the lid making it so you can't see the complete iris. One last suggestion I have is when or if you change the font, make it so the g doesn't intersect with the eye or if it does maybe have the g on top of it and up the opacity. Please don’t feel that I am being harsh or anything, I really like the use of the eye in your logotype and think it creative.

  3. Jonathan – This logo design appears to be centered around a technical drawing of an eye. Which puts it in the category of a “simplistic/realistic” style. Contemporary logo design is all about abstraction, and that approach might make more sense because this is a contemporary company that invests in ideas – which is a very abstract thing, isn’t it? So, this logo must show a sophistication that a technical drawing of an eye just doesn’t meet. The curved baselines give this a humorous, light-hearted feel… which again, doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense for this investment company. I encourage you to, instead of trying to find an icon that would suggest “ideas”, that you become a typographer and work just with the abstract shape of the letters. Do a google search to see other solutions for investment companies, and look carefully at the ones that don’t use icons, but instead use a creative approach to the typography. Then return to this design and use just the words “Design Change”. You can add the tagline “Envisioning the Future” if it still makes sense with the logo design you settle on.

  4. Well done, I like the connection, the eye, the slogan is great as well. May be just where the “g” is see thru the eye, that can easily be adjusted, may be a little more space. But I think over all concept is awesome.
