Logo Type Mason Prentiss

  1. I like the font you have, and the inversion of the colors is nice. The form is easy to remember, plus the simplicity makes it quick to recognize.

    Recognizable + memorable = effective.

  2. Very effective Mason, just an idea but could you add some clouds to give it a dream sense to it.

  4. Mason – I wonder if you actually need the background shape? I’m not sure what that shape means, and how it helps me know more about what Design Change does. In fact, the shape is a bit awkward, off balance, and reminds me of a white board eraser (probably because I’m an educator!). I encourage you to drop the background and work with the type only. The deconstructed shapes of your letters in this font seems very interesting, and makes me think that Design Change might be all about deconstructing what we know of our present world. So I think the font itself holds a lot of interest – especially if you decide to find another font that could work with this one… so you are combining fonts within the logo itself… juxtaposition of contrasts could also bring new meaning to this logo.

I want to ask you about your product name: Dream-to-Screen. The name is very clear and understandable. But… does it look and sound as contemporary/futuristic as it could? Keep thinking about this name, and see how you might shorten it but not loose the meaning. Less, or no, hyphens would be a good start.

  5. Color is great fit, I like the font, and this is only me personally but the shape reminds me of a dog tag. Not to say it’s an anyway a negative thing but it just popped in right away figured I’d tell you.

  6. I like the font, and colors. Something about the combination really lends to the idea of the future.
